Dine with the Presidents! Woodmere's White House Dinnerware Collection recreates the elegance and history of official State functions for the home. All the patterns in this collection are reproductions of dinnerware designed for and used by United States Presidents. Each pattern has been carefully researched using original plates from private collectors.

What elegant dinenrware patterns our President had! There are a variety of patriotic designs with vibrant purple-red borders or rich coblt rims; there are florals trimmed in pastel shades with gold tracery; there are geometric patterns and monograms. Not all presidents ordered new china. For instance, when President Andrew
Johnson took office, it was determined that the recently purchased Lincoln china was more than adequate to meet the new administration's needs. Therefore, there is no china for for the Andrew Johnson administration.

Each dessert plate in the collection comes packaged in a gift box with a recipe card featuring a favorite food of that particular President. The backstamp features the name and terms in office of the Presidnet represented.
