Pillivuyt (pronounced “pilly-veet”) is a superior line of white porcelain made in France. Available in dinnerware, cookware, and serveware, Pilllivuyt is recognized as France’s leading porcelain manufacturer and is internationally known for its exceptional quality and designs. With over 200 items in production, the line has an outstanding reputation for durability and toughness. Founded by the Pillivuyt family in 1818, the factory is now employee-owned and operated near the town of Mehun-sur-Yevre. The factory is an important part of the economy of this small town and employs over 300 of its local population. After almost two centuries in business, Pillivuyt still retains a large part of the human factor in the production process. Each dish goes through 17 “hands-on” steps before leaving the factory, ensuring that Pillivuyt quality is preserved throughout the generations.

Pillivuyt cookware is internationally known for its exceptionally even heat conduction, versatility, and durability. Because of the extraordinarily hard glaze, baked-on food can be removed easily with a short soak or gentle scrubbing.

Pillivuyt is great on the grill! The strong and durable clay mix in this porcelain allows you to use Pillivuyt for outdoor cooking. For grilling purposes, choose a dish with a flat bottom and make sure there is a small layer of liquid in the bottom of the dish at all times.

Every piece of Pillivuyt porcelain is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. All Pillivuyt products are lead and cadmium-free and 100% food-safe.
